What to do in Manchester.

14th November 2013 Posted by numagoo

We feel slightly bad to be including Christmas events already. However, this week sees the start of the German Markets and ice skating rink so it would be rude not to inform our readers. As always we look at the wonderful events and places you can go to in Manchester.

Manchester’s Award Winning Christmas Market. Nov 15th to Dec 22nd.

Yes, Christmas is upon us again. This weekend our city centre will be transformed by the bustle and excitement of the christmas markets. The perfect outing to get you in the festive spirit. From over 300 festooned wooden houses you can pick up beautiful gifts from soaps, cheeses to bags and jewellery. Food and wine is plentiful, get warm over a mulled wine or start the celebrations in one of the beer huts. http://www.christmasmarkets.com/UK/manchester-christmas-market.html

Ice Skating in the City. Nov 8th to Jan 5th.

To keep with the Christmas theme Spinningfield is hosting a Ice Rink for the festive season. Open seven days a week the ice rink is a popular christmas attraction in the city. There will also be a number of food and drink outlets surrounding the rink including The Long Bar and the big screen which will feature Christmas films. For more information click here,  http://spinningfieldsicerink.co.uk/

Located above the famous Hula Tiki Lounge, Rosylee Tea Rooms is a tea room and cocktail bar that cleverly combines Edwardian decadence with a modern twist to create a unique space for socialising in the Northern Quarter. Open from 9am to 11pm you can go to enjoy breakfast to having after work cocktails. Rosylee offers charm and sophistication at an affordable price.
