It is Wednesday we are over the hump and the weekend is quickly approaching. So, here is Numagoos round up of the must go-to events happening in the city this month.

What? Oxjam Music Festival

When? October 5th to 6th

Taking over the northern quarter for one weekend only. Expected to be the biggest and best yet. Local music with a global effect. Head down and enjoy yourself for charity.

What? Vogues Big Fashion Night Out

When? October 10th

Next Thursday marks a historical day of Vogues Big Night Out gracing the streets of Manchester for the first time. Normally home is London but the decision was rightly made that Manchester should host this fashion party. Manchester will be celebrating in style, highlights include personalised fashion illustrations by Clym Evernden and a live shoot in the store window of H&M. As well as special offers, promotions, champagnes and in store DJs.

What? Manchester Weeekender 2013

When? October 10th to 13th

The weekender stages a series of one-off, intimate and often unusual events that represent the city. Placing the diverse artists, musicians, festivals and writers into some of the cities most iconic and historic spaces. Venues include Manchester Museum, The Chinese Art Centre and The Lowry.

What? Curious About Manchester

When? October 30th to December 31st

Two self guided treasure hunt style heritage walks around Manchester city centre – a great christmassy day out for the whole family.The interactive trip has the guests find answers to clues and match pictures whilst reading stories about this interesting city.
