Instagram for Business is here. The leading photo sharing app is simple and fast growing, with its double tap “liking” system being like no other. Instagram has 300 million daily users! And a growing reputation. Branching out to marketers, the company has just announced that soon they will be setting a range of business tools, business profiles, analytics and the ability to create ads from posts directly within the app. 

Even though Instagram was intentionally made for photo sharing, it is becoming a more frequent use in some aspects as a public diary where people are not just uploading filtered pictures. But flooding captions with their daily lives and thoughts.

Facebook has always been the platform where people put their daily lives, with the exception that only your friends and family see what you are posting. Instagram breaks that barrier enabling people from anywhere in the world to see what you’re doing and who you’re with. Creating a world of its own.

Instagram limits each caption to 2,200 characters. The potential length becomes extremely annoying as a marketing tool, and brands often abuse it to sell their product. But in the hands of an average user, it provides plenty of space for a few observations of everyday life. Even though Instagram doesn’t provide tools for you to create or manage your marketing results.
