How Pinterest analytics can benefit your business

There are many social media channels that are re-launching and improving the appearance of their platforms. This is down to the needs of the consumer. Whether the customer is on the go and interacting via their mobile or at home on the PC, we have seen google plus, Facebook and now Pinterest introduce new and improved platforms for their users. Its not just the customer who can benefit from these changes. Businesses have the opportunity to produce creative and engaging visual content to suit their audience and potential customers. This is particularly useful to more visual platforms such as Pinterest, who have recently launched an analytic channel for verified businesses on their platform. When on Pinterest, businesses can use their social strategy. To start with following people to the businesses niche, uploading images that are associated with your business, inspiration, the office etc. Most importantly, you can begin tracking data to see how effective your pins are with your target audience. This can really help with improving your social media presence.  After you have been working on an account for around a month, you can simply click on the drop down option in the right hand corner and see your analytics. From there you can view ‘site metrics’, ‘most recent’, ‘most re-pinned’ and ‘most clicked’. To further this you can export this data into a CSV file so that you can keep a history of your Pinterest performance.
